You are paid for the waiting, not just the riding.

The job

• Collect a packed bag from a shop. You are never sent to a bag that isn’t packed.
• Take it to the customer and hand it over.
• Wait while they try things on. You are paid for every one of those minutes, including the free ones the customer gets.
• Take back whatever they didn’t keep. It rides with your next job.

Before your first job

We check three things: photo ID, that you can work here, and insurance. A person looks at them — it isn’t automatic, and it doesn’t take long.

Your own hours

Go on shift when you want to work and off when you don’t. You can’t go off in the middle of a job, because somebody is waiting on their doorstep for you.
